The Last Herd
The Ytuma
The mighty Ytuma, with horns of brawn and hearts of fire, roam free and wild, defending their new home with pride and valor.
A herd is only as safe as its shepherd is calm.
Once nomads of the Singing Plains, the Ytuma were driven from their ancestral home when The Curse swept across the world, freezing their herds and silencing the plains' song. They forged an alliance with the Mohyar and their Druids before fleeing south across the frozen sea to Azuhl, standing shoulder to shoulder with their new allies against the Dæmonic forces that stalked the land.
Now, the Ytuma remain steadfast allies of the Mohyar, living upon the lands granted to them after the wars. Most lead peaceful lives serving as shepherds and protectors for their Mohyar kin. Others dedicate themselves to the Druids directly, acting as guardians and companions, their strength a bulwark against the wilds.
Towering in stature and marked by horned, bovine features, the Ytuma are creatures of quiet power and enduring grace. Their lives span a hundred cycles, during which they embody humility, generosity, and an almost spiritual curiosity for the world's mysteries. Beneath their rugged appearance lies a people of warmth and wisdom, builders of bonds, keepers of old songs, and seekers of harmony in a world still haunted by the echoes of The Curse.
