Nebulous Wanderers
The Druwhn
Like banks of mist, the Druwhn wander the lands, their footsteps light and their hearts filled with the wisdom of their ancestors.
The Ghosts speak, we listen.
The Druwhn are wanderers of mist and memory, nomads who drift through the wilds of Azuhl as if following the breath of the earth itself. Their lives are bound to the Ghost Stones, ancient relics said to hold the whispers of their ancestors. Through these stones, they commune with spirits long past, seeking counsel, strength, and the quiet wisdom of those who walked before them. Central to their worldview is an endless philosophical struggle between literal light and shadow, not as good and evil, but as competing truths, illumination that reveals and darkness that preserves, each necessary, each dangerous in excess.
Though reclusive, the Druwhn are far from isolationist. They move between lands as traders first and mediators if the occasion arises, their presence often heralding a bounty of goods from distant isles, and brokering peace between rival kin.
Yet, they guard their traditions with a ferocity matched only by their reverence for nature, and those who seek to claim their secrets quickly learn the futility of such ambition. Their devotion to the old ways borders on unyielding, a stubbornness that has both anchored and burdened them. Change comes slowly to the Druwhn, but it is this very steadfastness that has preserved their spirit through the centuries. To meet a Druwhn is to glimpse an older Azuhl, one still alive with wild breath, ancestral echoes, and the quiet strength of those who walk in perfect harmony with the world.
