The Mohyar trace their roots to the mainland, where centuries ago they fled the tightening grip of the Drakorian Empire. Sharp-minded and courageous, they took to the sea, carving out a life as traders, whalers, and raiders along the treacherous coasts of Azuhl. Yet their taste for piracy and impulsive ways brought the Empire down upon them once more. The islands fell, and for generations the Mohyar lived as servants beneath imperial rule.

Still, their spirit endured. Guided by the druids of Arion, they clung to their faith and identity, waiting for the moment to break free. When the Curse shattered the world, they rose in rebellion, striking against the Empire and reclaiming their independence.

Now the Mohyar stand among the strongest powers in Azuhl. Led by the ways of the Old Gods, they strive to restore their old dominance over the Isles. They are bold, sociable, and inventive, known for their charm and love of risk, whether in trade, wagers, or blood sport. Yet beneath this confidence lies a restless impatience, a streak of mistrust, and a tendency toward excess and stubborn dogma. For all their flaws, the Mohyar remain a resilient and spirited people, bound by their gods, their druids, and the sea that has ever been their lifeblood.
