Small and nimble, the Deeplings are a mysterious and intelligent people, known for their deep reverence for the Allshroom.

The Deeplings have always roamed the dark depths beneath the forests and roots of the islands. There, in the Shadowdeep, their lives are governed by their faith in the Allshroom, whose mycelial network permeates the earth. But now that the Curse causes the first mushrooms to wither, the Deeplings find themselves forced to seek a cure for their dying god in the dreaded light of the surface.
If you play a Deepling, you will have learned from a young age to dart unseen between roots and stones like a shadow. The spores you can release will deceive your enemies and allow you to blend into your surroundings. And your sacred bond with the fungi of the underworld will protect your body and mind against poison and curses.
